The Joy Dome sculpture is a large clear 22" diameter acrylic dome, decoupaged in pink construction paper and embellished with dried yellow flowers, sequins and rhinestones.The center of the Joy Dome has a custom made acrylic flower with rhinestones.  Hanging from the dome is 36" long fringe with yellow rhinestone cup chain. The colorful and sparkly materials I use in my work bring me happiness, and that’s what I would like to evoke in the viewer—-an experience of joy.
